Police Officer Caught with 100 Green Apple Ecstasy in Possession

Liputan6.com, Jakarta A police officer in Pekanbaru was arrested on the evening of Thursday for having 100 ecstasy pills in possession. The special drugs unit team from the local police resort in Pekanbaru busted him right next to the police station where he was seen carrying a bag full of ecstasy with its logo stamp forming apple and the color green.

“Officer ‘IR’ was immediately detained following raid on him done on Thursday 17 December 2015 at around 4 pm. He was riding his motorcycle just around the corner of where the police station is situated,” Head of Drugs unit from Pekanbaru police department Iwan Lesmana explained, Friday (18/12/2015).

“Police went to confiscate one cellphone, motorcycle, and 100 ‘green apple’ ecstasies for further investigation and to find out what role he is playing in the drug chain,” he further explained.

According to Iwan, probe over the evidence found is highly necessitated as to find out what IR’s role is in the drug chain, whether he is the dealer, distributor or courier of the object. As investigation is underway, local police discovers another accomplice from the police force is involved in such undertaking.

“We raided his accomplice’s home but he was gone then,” Iwan concluded.
